Greenwood High School is at the forefront of upholding the maxim prevention is better than cure, in letter and spirit, alike, about the health of its staff. The perils of modern-day health challenges afflicting humanity leading to uncertainties and unforeseen circumstances are universally acknowledged. In line with the same, the Management and the School authorities strongly recognize the imperativeness of fostering preventive health checkups as one of the most crucial aspects for the overall well-being of the staff. This way, any potential health hazards that could be identified before the onset of more serious challenges subsequently were the underlying factor in green flagging the preventive health checkup camp for the benefit of the staff. Think about it, who would not want to remain in the pink of their health, obtain validation from medical connoisseurs to that effect, and also feel good about themselves? All of us without any exception. Thus, as part of the School’s HR measures and initiatives, an annual health checkup camp including routine blood investigation, ECG, eye, and dental tests was organized for all categories of staff. Needless to mention, the health checkup camp received an overwhelming response from the School staff. Some of the glimpses from the camp are shared here as a ready reference.
