“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better. —Albert Einstein”
This lockdown period has given an opportunity for all of us as well as the children to pause, reflect, nurture and care for our fellow beings as well as nature. Yuvaan Tripathi, a Grade 3 student shares his experience about his love for gardening.
Ms. Geetika, Yuvaan’s parent shares, “From early years, he has always loved to play outside in the garden, amid soil, flowers and trees. Now during the past few months, when all of us have been staying indoors, Yuvaan has developed an inclination towards gardening as well as taking care of the plants in the house. He has been watering them, painting the old pots all by himself, and learning the tips and tricks of gardening from his grandmother which also includes fortifying the soil with manure. No wonder, the end results are a delight to see for the eyes and the soul.”
Rightly mentioned in an American Proverb, “We don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”
