What I have learnt from my teachers – By Sahana Gupta, Class IX, Greenwood High School

“To make no mistakes is not in the power of man, but from their errors and mistakes the wise and good learn wisdom for the future” – Plutarch
One of the main things that I have learnt from my teachers is to learn through my mistakes.  Failure if the spice that gives victory its taste!  One can only appreciate success if he has worked hard for it.
My teachers have also taught me to stand out and be unique.  They have encouraged me to choose my own way and to make a wave in the path I choose.  My teachers have motivated me to aspire and chase my dreams.
Teachers have shown me right from wrong and have guided me onto the right track.  They have also taught me to be original in my work and to be assiduous, no matter how many times I fail.  “Success consists of getting up just one more time than you fall” – Oliver Goldsmith

I attribute all my success to the wonderful teachers who have taught me over the years.
