Greenwood High Students Excel at Children Chess Tournament

Shraddha Somanath (Grade 2) won the First Place in the Under-9 Girls Category of the  Children Chess Tournament Organised by Champions Chess Academy on 20th September at Rajarajeshwarinagar, Bangalore. Shraddha Scored 6 points from 7 rounds and Secured the First Place. Prachi Dayal (Grade 4) scored 5 points and secured second Place. Aashi Agarwal (Grade 4) Scored 4 points and Secured 3rd place. Mahati Vivasan  Shastri ( Grade3 ) Scored  3.5 Points and secured 4th Place.

In the Under-12  boys Category Shreyas Singh (Grade 6) Scored 5.5 Points  from 7 Rounds and got 4th Place.

In the Under-12  Girls Category  Ananya Rajaram (Grade 6) scored 4 points and got 5th Place.

In Under-16 Category Sidddharth R of IGCSE/IB got 5th Place.

Vrishank Peddireddi( 5 points), Saket Singh (5 Points) Nikhil Srinivasan (4 Points),Tanay Jain(4 Points), Aaarav Tiwari (4 Points), Nishanth.S(4 Points) Nikhil Khurana (4 Points), Dhruv Reddy (3,5 points), Anish Vivek (3 Points) and Nihal Karthik( 2,5 Points ) are the other Greenwood High  Students who took part in the U-9 Category.

Abhinav Saraf (5 Points), Ahan Banergee(4 Points), Tejas Sajjan (4 Points), Manasi Manikantan (3 points),Mananya (3 Points), Prarthan Bhat (3 Points)and Shradha Bebarta (2 points) are the  other students who took part in under-12 Category.

Greenwood High won  the Best School Trophy .
