Sandeep Reehal of Grade 6 and his sister Riya Reehal of Grade 3 have won the Bangalore regional competition of Indian Robot Olympiad 2015 (https://www.indianrobotolympiad.org) in the Elementary category.
This competition was held at Visvesvaraya Industrial Tech Museum last week. The brother-sister team competed against 11 other teams and won by scoring 90 points out of maximum 100 points. They will now compete at the national level on Sep 27th. The national level competition would be held in Delhi and the top teams would represent India at World Robot Olympiad (https://www.wro2015.org) to be held in Qatar from Nov 6th to 8th, 2015.
Previously, Sandeep, Reehal and his team had won the Bangalore regional IRO competition in 2011 and was runner’s up at the national level. Their team represented India at WRO 2011 held in Abu Dhabi.
