Even though Shraddha defeated Shefali in the 6th and final round, Tie break score pushed Shraddha to second place. Anagha of Mysore secured 3rd Place and Vaishnavi Rao of Bengaluru secured 4th Place.
Shraddha was qualified to represent the Karnataka State in the National Under-7 Girls Chess Championship which will be held at Chennai in the month of August 2015.
Pragy Narayan (Grade 2) scored 5.5 points from 7 Rounds in the State under-7 Boys Chess Championship and secured 5th Place. Ayush J yajaman of Bengaluru won the 1st Place with 6.5 Points.
Suraj Bhat (GR 2), Arush Verma (GR 2), Aarav Kaul (GR 2), Vasanth (GR 1), Aditi Garg (GR 2) and Sanjana Garg (GR 2) are the other students from Greenwood High who took part in the State Chess Championship and won consolation Prizes.
