K.SOMANATH, Chess Teacher of Greenwood High International School, Bangalore has got National Instructor Title of the World Chess Federation (FIDE) for successfully passing the exam conducted by World Chess Federation (FIDE). K.Somanath attended the FIDE Trainer’s Seminar organized by World Chess Federation (FIDE), FIDE Trainers Commission and All India Chess Federation at Chennai, from October 25th to 29th 2012. K.Somanath is the first Chess Coach from Karnataka State to get this Title and also the First School Teacher from India to get this title. The Results of the exams were announced today by the FIDE Senior Trainer Jovan Petronic of Singapore, who was in charge of the training and Exam. He was assisted by FIDE Trainer V. Hariharan from India.
