The 8th of July,2022 marked the grandiose event of Greenwood High, Bannerghatta – ‘The Investiture Ceremony’, which is one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the schedule of school events.
The momentous occasion was graced by the presence of our respected Principal Mr. Louis Dias, who inaugurated the ceremony by invoking the blessings of the Almighty by lighting the lamp along with Vice Principal Ma’am.
The Principal, in his message, motivated the Student Council Members to serve with honesty and integrity and be a strong support to the staff and urged all the students to extend their cooperation.
The newly elected Student Council was conferred with badges and sashes of pride instilling in each one of them, the sense of duty and honour, while entrusting them to bear the yoke of responsibilities for the next academic year.
It was followed by the solemn oath taking where they pledged in the presence of God and the assembly, to abide by the rules and regulations and to carry out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them with courage and conviction and to always uphold the integrity of the school.
Finally, the School Captain delivered her speech and promised to uphold the legacy of Greenwood High School by travelling this road together and working in unison to keep Greenwood High’s banner flying high up in the sky, mounted with love, hoisted with dignity, and fluttering with grace.
The ardour of the council was reflected in their confidence and dedication to execute their work. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem putting forward the spirit of our love towards the nation as we continue to rise high, raising leaders of the future world someday.
